Shakara 12 Year Thai Rum (750ml)
Shakara is a 12 year-old tropically aged Thai rum that pays tribute to the long history of the culture of sugar cane in South East Asia. Produced on column still and aged for 12 full years in ex-bourbon cask in the tropical climate of Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. The results are a rich and deep palate leading into a long and complex finish, due to the very high angel's share compared to rums aged in continental climates. Aromas of honey, toffee, almond and a full spectrum of coconut. The palate is fresh and lively with cane sugar and tropical notes of mango, papaya, and fresh figs.
