Wow, what maybe seem like the outlier in the range of experimental cask finishes from Two Stacks, is the clear break-out winner for us. The luscious notes added from the French Oak Casks that held rare Apricot Brandy is just what was needed apparently to balance of the smoke and spice from the base blend. One of the most interesting Irish Whiskies we've tasted in years.
