Dalton Description
The Dalton Alma Red is a powerful blend consisting of 55% Shiraz, 40% Grenache Noir, and 5% Carignan all sourced from vineyards in Israel's Galilee and then aged 18 months in French oak barrels. There are notes of dried fruit, such as dried plums, prunes, and raisins with a touch of vanilla. It is medium bodied with a touch of spice and very well balanced. The acid grows on the palate and the tannins are solid; the wine is overall very smooth and well suited for a mature palate. Kosher For Passover; not Mevushal.
