Textura Wines is a terroir-driven family project started in 2018 in Dão on the slopes of Serra da Estrela. We love this textured field blend sourced from the highest mountain ranges in Portugal. Sourced from 3 blocks in Vila Nova de Tazem from vines up to 60 years old, this is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Jaen, and Alfrocheiro. Fermented in stainless steel with about 1/3 whole clusters, this aged for 15 months in used French oak. It has mineral and red-fruit flavors with a woodsy, slightly spicy finish.
