Bereche & Fils Description
This microscopic 0.15 hectare plot, Mailly, which Bereche acquired in 2012, is their first Grand Cru vineyard. As with all Bérêche Champagnes, there is no malolactic fermentation. This wine was a scarcely 2,000 bottle run based on vat-fermented, barrel-aged Pinot Noir from the Grand Montagne de Reims-Nord. The intriguing, energetic aromas and flavors of black cherries, blackberry and violets- married to a seamless, weightless body- make this a thing unto itself.
