Matthieu Cosse and Catherine Maisonneuve are leading a renaissance of the Cahors region. They share a vision of refined, elegant wines with a distinct personality. The grapes used for this wine comes from the top of the parcel just across from the Domaine, which has a north-facing exposure, meaning it has more shade and grapes take longer to ripen. The result is a fine, delicate Malbec with aromas of blackberry, black cherry and violet with hints of leather and tobacco. Full-bodied and powerful, bursting with dark fruit, spices, and a touch of minerality.
