Domaine des Moriers is currently making some of our favorite wines in Beaujolais. Perhaps that shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering the project comes from François de Nicolay, who runs the iconic Chandon de Briailles in Burgundy. Here in Moulin-à-Vent, François makes a deep, earthy red wine lifted by Beaujolais’ classic bright fruit and freshness. Notes of strawberry, black pepper, mushroom, and leather.
