Guido Porro Barolo Vigna Lazzairasco 2020 (750ml)
Situated in Serralunga d'Alba, the Porro family own a number of vineyards in this menzione of Lazzarito. Full-bodied with firm yet well-integrated tannins. It reveals layers of dark fruit flavours, including plums and blackberries, complemented by subtle oak and floral notes, particularly rose petals and violets. Its vibrant acidity balances the structure, making it suitable for aging.

Brick red in color, the 2020 Barolo V. Lazzairasco is spicy and perfumed with notes of eucalyptus, mossy earth, grenadine, cherries, dried rose, and anise. Medium-bodied, it has a nice purity of concentration on the palate, with ripe tannins, a velvety texture, and a clean, balanced finish that has good length. It’s another impressive wine from Porro with some potential for aging over the next 12-15 year
