Keuka Lake Vineyards Description
A beautifully mineral and fresh dry Riesling that has a deep fruit concentration with an electric acidity.
Evergreen Lek is one of our oldest Riesling sites, planted in 1999 next to a patch of evergreen trees on a rich mixture of glacial deposits and shale. Each year we blind taste our vineyard Rieslings and bottle those which exhibit the most distinctive flavors. The site is made of soils mixed of slate and glacial deposits, perhaps bringing the characteristic minerality to this vineyard’s wines.
Wine Spectator: 92 Points
This has both plump and tangy aspects, with lemon gelée, chamomile and salted butter notes lacing a core of yellow apple and white nectarine. Shows nice tension, range and length. Drink now through 2026.
