The grapes for this cuvée are sourced from the “Chioso dei Pomi” vineyard in the heart of Ghemme. A Ghemme blend of 85% Nebbiolo and 15% Vespolina, this wine matured in large Slavonian barrels for over 12 months before bottling. The elegance of this Nebbiolo-based wine is apparent with its layers of lithe, dusty tannins. Complex, with knitted flavors of dark berries, tar, and dried rose petals. Decant alongside a feast of short ribs, lamb shanks, or mushrooms.
