A light-gold, very beautiful colour. Fine, extremely long-lasting mousse. Citrus fruits, mangos, peaches and apricots. A wonderful balance of aromatic strength and the freshness of exotic fruits. A refined blend in which the elegance of the Chardonnay melds with the fruitiness of the Pinot Meunier and the enduring flavour of the Pinot Noir.

Rich, with hints of brioche and honey accenting the patisserie apple, mandarin orange peel and candied ginger flavors. Shows vibrancy throughout, framed by firm acidity and an airy mousse. Offers a lasting, mineral-tinged finish.

Based on 2008 (80% plus 20% Reserve wines), Alfred Gratien's citrus-colored Cuvée Classiqiue, the non-vintaged Brut blends Chardonnay (46%) with Pinot Noir (29%) and Pinot Meunier (25%). It fermented in oak barrels (no malolactic), was bottled in May 2009 and aged for almost five years on the lees before it was disgorged in March 2014 with 11.65 grams per liter dosage.
