The attractive nose of black raspberries and sour cherries pulls you into this Pernand-Vergelesses that manages to be light-footed, concentrated and elegant all at once. And the structure is impressive for the vintage, the tannins ample, but well integrated and not a jot too dry. Long chalky finish. Just beginning to show what it's made of. Drinkable now, but best from 2024.

Fresh strawberries mixed with violets, cumin and coriander spice, and a slight vegetal edge make for an interesting nose. The palate is complex, presenting more white strawberries balanced by earth and a saline finish.
