Common Wealth Crush is an exciting project out of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley that functions as a custom crush meets incubator meets thinktank cooperative. All their projects have small producers in mind who are making waves in the East Coast wine scene. Jahdé Marley collaborated on this wine with Common Wealth Crush, and was part of the inaugural incubator class. Jahdé is the founder of 'By the Hand,' a multi-faceted beverage platform contributing to the intersection of agricultural and social revolution by focusing on lesser represented communities, regions, grapes and fruit ferments. She is also a founder of ABV (Anything But Vinifera), a festival that highlights connecting artisans, land stewards, and local communities around hybrid grapes, native agriculture, regional fruit, and solidarity economics. When we tried this, we couldn't believe this wasn't a Chardonnay from the Jura! Beautifully oxidative.
