This vivid Syrah (95%) and Mourvedre (5%) blend comes from the famed Costieres de Nimes district, located at the southernmost end of the Rhone Valley. In the glass it shows a savory character, with flavors of peppered bacon, blueberry, olive and smoky plum. Aged in a mix of concrete and used French oak for balance. This meaty red maintains a fresh feel, thanks to the cooling Mediterranean breezes that moderate this unique terroir.
