Marie Jacqueson sells almost everything in France where restaurants from Beaune to Paris to Bordeaux feature the Rully domaine. No matter where you are in France, if there is a Bouzeron or Rully on the list, it's likely either a de Villaine or Jacqueson. The history of the Jacqueson domaine originates towards the end of WWII, at about the same time when the appellation began to shift its local reputation as glou glou source for local factory workers to one, that under the right watch, rivaled its more celebrated northern neighbors. Marie Jacqueson’s grandfather planted many of the top sites in Bouzeron and Rully, including Chaponnières, Raclot, Preaux, Pucelles, and Grésigny. The village white from Rully offers aromas of citrus blossom, stone fruit and ginger. The wine is juicy with plenty of concentration yet is wrapped tightly by a chiseled, mineral finish that goes on and on.
