The volcanic soils of the east-facing slopes of the Eola Hills shows here in a smoky, dusky, earth tone that perfectly complements wonderfully ripe and rich dark red fruit. The aromas and flavors keep expanding with air, becoming fully mouthfililng even as the wine stays light and finessed. Too good to resist now but do hold some to enjoy over the next 10-15 years.
