Natenadze Description
Ottoman occupation destroyed the village and vineyards of the Meskheti region. Over the past decade, winemaker Giorgi Natenadze has been bringing back the local endemic vines. This is an extremely rare red wine made from ancient Georgian grape varieties foraged on very old vines found in the wild. Fermented on skins without stems for 6 months in Qvervi then in stainless steel vat, resulting in notes of fresh red fruits, berry juice, wild cherry, and dried wild herbs.
