Finger Lakes native Nathan Kendall studied winemaking in cool-climate regions around the world, including New Zealand, Germany, and Oregon, before returning home in 2011 to start his eponymous winery... Pinot Blanc needs some love to coax out its rich texture, and Kendall achieves this easily. The nose is full of roasted pears, citrus, and wet stone minerality. Excellent natural acidity lifts the wine on the palate.
