The “Artist Series” from Pied a Terre was created to offer a barrel-selection of the finest barrels in the cellar. The inaugural vintage was 2018. Made from a selection of the 4 best barrel—only 100 cases produced. This silky red offers great density and concentration on the palate. Flavors and aromas of black cherry, cassis, caramel and chocolate come through on the long finish.
Pied a Terre Description
The 2019 Cabernets are the best wines we have made to date. The weather being as mild as it was allowed for excellent development of phenolics and flavors retention of great acidity. The wines are already showing great structure and concentration without being overripe. Rich and flavorful aromas of black cherry and cassis with hints of dark fudge and vanilla. Full-bodied and quite dense on the palate, with unending length and complexity all through the finish.
