From 40-year-old estate vines comes this lithe yet deeply colored Cabernet Franc. After destemming and a gentle crush, the wine is aged in used barrels for 9 months. If you appreciate Loire Cabernet Franc, you will love this. It has some nice weight to it and expresses bright cherry and raspberry, with a hint of green olive and an underlying note of pipe tobacco and cigar box.
