This is a special wine. The nose is so balanced and deep with notes of lemon oil, honeysuckle, vanilla custard, yellow flowers, and poached pears. This is the kind of nose to get lost in and just contemplate as it evolves in the glass. The medium-weighted palate has excellent depth and balance along with crisp, medium acidity. Mature white Burgundy in pristine condition like this is absolutely breathtaking. If you know about Ampeau, you know how good these wines are.
