The Scaia Rosato is made from 100% Rondinella, a grape typically used in the production of Amarone and Valpolicella wines. The 2023 is absolutely gorgeous, showing a pretty bouquet of aromatic flowers, minerality and hints of almond. This blossoms in the glass and floods the palate with a silky richness and notes of cherry, raspberry and citrus peel. Finishes with a touch of peach and lingering salinity. This is a fantastic dry rosé and the price makes it very suitable for crowd control!
