Domaine Leonine Description
“Bottleneck” is a blend of 50% Grenache and 50% Syrah grown on sand and silt. It retains a lively pop of flavor thanks to the carbonic maceration that takes place for 15 days. The wine is then pressed off into barrel, where it ages for 6 months. In the glass, it tastes of grilled plum, tangy strawberry and dried Mediterranean herbs. It’s got that perfect balance of seriousness and fun, something that isn’t always easy to do in the natural wine genre! Pair with a burger for a classic wine + food experience.
