Les Larmes is de-classified juice from prestigious Anderson Valley vineyards of varied soil types, including clay loam soils and rocky volcanic soils. Aged for 11 months in French oak, 10% new, the wine is textured, elegant, supple, balanced, and concentrated with fine-grained tannins and bright acidity. Gorgeous notes of fresh cherry, alpine strawberry, plum, raspberry, cranberry, candied orange peel, rose petal, lavender, and earth. Les Larmes is always produced with the idea that it is best consumed relatively young. but it has the stuffing to age for a few years.
