Ruinart Description
Ruinart's Blanc de Blancs is probably its most famous style of Champagne and is made entirely from Chardonnay grapes, sourced from Premier Cru vineyard in the Côtes des Blancs and Montagne de Reims areas of Champagne. Their elegant, signature style comes from four years' worth of sitting on its lees, followed by rest in Ruinart's ancient Roman chalk cellars. The nose is a decadent, heady mix of fruit, butter cookie, and Meyer lemon. The palate has a lovely, fresh, fruit and bread character, as if you took a yellow apple and covered it in a honey butter.
