The Abbey-Harris vineyard is a minuscule two-acre site in Anderson Valley that is perched 1,100 feet above sea level, and it shows two faces in the soil department: one part of the vineyard is rooted in pale sand and pink quartz while the other half is rich in shale and organic matter. This energetic Pinot Noir offers crushed rock, rose petal, strawberry, Bing cherry, and spice. Definitely one for the cellar—drink from 2025 and beyond.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Abbey-Harris Vineyard has pure scents of cranberries and blackberry jam with notes of cedar, sagebrush and mushroom. Medium-bodied, chalky and refreshing, it offers a satisfying core of dark fruit and a mineral-driven, still youthfully coiled finish. Give it another 2-3 years in the bottle.
